The Magical World of Facebook and Then........

Updated on June 24, 2015

Hell comes running over

Social networks to those who have blinders on and live back in the stone ages, don't realize that this computer world has opened up many venues of murderers, rapist, child pedophiles, cheaters, human trafficking, Jesus haters and Devil worshipers. If you think this isn't true I will prove my case.

Each year 800,000 children are reported missing. Out of those children reported missing, some will not ever see their families again because of social networks. You post every place you are and that unknown male you friended six months ago has been watching your page, knows when your not home, how many children you have, how much he would like to molest and sleep with your daughter that you post many photos of. Every time you post your location he is checking to see when you are not home and if your children are with you. A nice little website called Checkmate, gives your full name, your address, who you are related to, who you are married to and if you are divorced. Your five seconds of fame on Facebook that you are alone at the beauty salon and your 15 year old son is baby sitting your 9 year old daughter, just tipped off this pedophile that has been stalking your page for six months, a chance to go see just how pretty your little girl is.

Human trafficking of women and children has doubled in the last decade. The U.S. Justice Department estimates that 17,500 people are trafficked into the country every year, but the true figure could be higher, because of the large numbers of undocumented immigrants. According to the Department of State's statistics from 2000, there are approximately 244,000 American children and youth that are at risk for sex trafficking each year. Of these children and youth, 38,600 were originally runaways.

You think it can't happen to your child? You think your family is protected from such a horrible thing? Well think again because out of those 5,000 friends you are friends with 1 in 4 are pedophiles. Yes they want your children.

People think that slavery ended when Lincoln set them free, well in the real world we would love to believe that but as many as 244,000 American children since 2000 have been sold into slavery.

A father is supposed to protect his children and the things you say on Facebook may be harmless to you, but to these people its a way to get into your life, get to know you then find you and your family and dispose of you like garbage.

How it all began

Face book is an online social networking service. Its name comes from a colloquialism for the directory given to students at some American universities. Face book was founded on February 4, 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow Harvard University students Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. The founders had initially limited the website's membership to Harvard students, but later expanded it to colleges in the Boston area, the Ivy League, and Stanford University. It gradually added support for students at various other universities before it opened to high-school students, and eventually to anyone aged 13 and over. Face book now allows anyone who claims to be at least 13 years old to become a registered user of the website. (Wikipedia)

Face book has been a wonderful way for families that live near and far to connect, people to connect with old classmates or college mates and for people to advertise their businesses. It has become one of the most popular sites that made sites like My Space lose many customers. Being free is also one option that no one can complain about when it comes to keeping in touch with families.

I have truly enjoyed reconnecting with childhood friends, classmates and even spending quality time with my family that lives so far away. In many ways it has been a blessing. I get to see my nieces and nephews children, my grand children and everyone who is getting married, divorced, needing prayer and catching up on the lives of people that I haven't seen in a long time.

First we all started on My Space and it was such a nice place to go and friend everyone because what did we know way back then. Even Tom was our friend. Pretty cool the dude that started my space wanted to be friends with me. I think at one time I had Jesus, Jennifer Lopez, Mr. Rogers on my friends list. It's not so easy to find them on Facebook and you know why? Because they have better things to do with their lives then friend people that they don't know. They know better then to post their business on Facebook for the crazy fans to go crazy although I am a fan of The Following. Joe Carroll has my vote for best serial killer of the year. But folks no you know I can't write all the good, without writing the bad.

People you need to get out of the hole in the bucket and realize that social networks can be fun, crazy and bad. You go from the bipolar folks who post how they love Jesus daily to the very next status update cursing you out.

This is just a mere glimpse at the world that we live in. It's nice to have Facebook but at the same time, people have gotten to loose about how they behave. I really was offended when I found a Facebook page that is titled God hates fatties. This took the cake. God hates no one. He made the bread we break didn't he? Yada yada yada and the world still turns.

This is the magical part of Face book the one we all love. But then....

A crime linked to Facebook is reported to police every 40 minutes. Last year, officers logged 12,300 alleged offences involving the vastly popular social networking site.
A crime linked to Facebook is reported to police every 40 minutes. Last year, officers logged 12,300 alleged offences involving the vastly popular social networking site.

It Really Happens.

You’d think a Facebook feud couldn’t lead to much worse than some unflattering tags and a few deleted wall posts, or at the very worst just deleting your profile and having to do a mass-re-friending-of-shame, right?

Well, for Torrie Lynn Emery, 23, and Alesha Abernathy, 21, it led to a deadly high-speed car chase. With a 3 year old in the backseat.

The two women had been fighting on Facebook for months over the same guy—so when Torrie ran into Alesha with a friend at only the classiest of their neighborhood hangouts (that would be McDonald’s), she pursued them across town, ramming their car several times, Jeepers Creepers style, and eventually killed Alesha's passenger.

The dude they were fighting over had been in jail for over a year. But considering Torrie’s about to be joining him, guess she’s sort of… won? Only took running over her rival with a car (as most things do.)

Tracy Emery, Torrie’s mother, said tearfully, "She made a mistake, but her intentions weren’t to kill nobody. Her intentions were to fight." All things considered, she probably should have kept that particular fight to flirtacious passive-aggressive Facebook poking.. (Ranker.com)

So you see how the twisted little social network can start an all out Armageddon and you don't even know why you were unfriended. This whole hub started over a man who thought it was so nice to announce on Facebook that his 9 year old daughter had become a woman (or for those who are young it means she started her period). I got a bunch of hell because I said how embarrassing that must be for her. He got very defensive that he had every right to post about his daughter. Well guess what dude and you made fun of what I told you but some pedophile is sitting in his office trying to find out where your daughter lives because he wants to be the first one to make her a real woman. When you come from the back washes of a town that isn't even known on the map, you become stupid to the real world around you. Keep your blinders on and mark my words it will come true.

Stop making your children spectacles on Facebook. They don't belong in the spot light. If you think a milestone in your child's life is her starting her period, then you really have a sad life. A milestone for a child is scoring the winning touch down, kicking that soccer ball in to the goal, hitting a home run, graduating from high school, graduating from college, not that now she can get pregnant. Priorities people it's the right thing to do. People are ruthless these days. Do you think that these hateful soles on Facebook care if they took your child or your wife and dismantled their bodies and put them in a river give two flying whoopee's about your ignorance? Heck no they thrive on it.

Are your children protected?

Teenager Ashleigh Hall was murdered by serial rapist Peter Chapman after he groomed her on Facebook.

Chapman, 35, posed as a handsome teenager called Peter Cartwright to lure 17-year-old trainee nurse Ashleigh into his trap in September 2009.

He sent her a series of text messages and arranged to meet some weeks later, claiming to be ‘Peter’s dad’ to explain why he looked nothing like his photo.

Chapman drove Ashleigh to a secluded area called Thorpe Larches, near Sedgefield in County Durham.

Once there, he forced her to perform a sex act before binding and gagging her with duct tape, wrapping so much around her head that she suffocated to death.

He then dumped her body in a ditch and drove off.

In March 2010, Chapman was sentenced to a minimum of 35 years in jail for Ashleigh’s kidnap, rape and murder.

The missing faces from their families

How to stay protected

First and foremost if your children are under the age of 13 and can not give you permission to tell all their business, then stop it. Stop flaunting them to millions of online predators. What you think is cute is some one else's sadistic behavior boiling inside of them until they just have to find your kid.

If your child isn't old enough to give you permission to say things about them then don't. You are making their life into spectacles right before the whole worlds eyes. You don't think your photo's don't show up in a Google search, think again.

Yes parents, you the ones who put your children out there, really do not know who you are placing them in the hands of.

Just stop doing it. Its' cute, wonderful, so exciting and so is the man watching everything about your child.

Do you know what they are doing.

The father of an Orange County teenage girl thought he did. He said he was shocked when he discovered last year that his “sweet little girl” was exchanging sexually explicit videos, photos and text messages with strange men on Facebook and apps like Snapchat.

The Register is not naming the father to avoid identifying his then 16-year-old daughter, the victim of a sexual predator. When he and the girl’s stepmother discovered the images on her smart phone, they immediately called authorities -- and a 27-year-old man was arrested.

To help curb the escalating number of children falling prey to sexual predators online, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations division launched a first-of-its-kind national cyber safety campaign Tuesday in partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The campaign was announced during a news conference at Newhart Middle School in Mission Viejo. (Orange County Register)
