Making Your Life Worth Living

How many times in a day have you encountered negative, nasty people, that totally drain you and your life? They are constant complainers about life, their health, money, and all the turmoil they live in.

Sometimes we all encounter these people, however you have to seperate yourself from them and be determined that they won't ruin your day.

In this life you should surround yourself with happy people who are positive and love themselves and life. In order to have happiness in your life you have to have loving people on your side. As long as you keep hanging out with negative people, you will be negative also.

We all know that you must love yourself in order to love others better, but you also have to surround yourself with love to enjoy life.

Some people will say I only need my dog to make me happy but I can't imagine life without my family and few friends.

If you are one of those negative people who complain constantly about your health, money, life, your agony, then you need to do something about it or get help. No one wants to spend the day with a downer every single day of their life.

We all have bad days and bad times in our life, but if every day for you is bad and you can't find one ounce of happiness in your life then you may be depressed or suffering from something and should get checked out. No one should be unhappy every single day.

Surround yourself with love and positive thoughts even if your not having the best time in your life. Life is only what you make it and if you don't try to make it happy then you will spend it being miserable.

We can't always get rid of people who are unhappy in our lives such as our co-workers or bosses but you can try to turn their frown upside down by showing them love.

Don't worry be happy!

Positive Affirmations

Positive affirmations you can use to change their mood around or yours. You can tell them "you are beautiful, you have a beautiful soul, you are great at your job and I would love to have lunch with you".

Sometimes negative people just need someone to lean on or there are those who are just plain kill joys.

You don't have to put up with it. Especially in the work place. If it is offensive what they are doing simply tell them you don't like it. There will always be people who will complain every single day and then want to reprimand you if you complain.

Helping the Unhappy

When water is dripping through the downstairs ceiling in your house, you must find the leak to fix it. When your car makes a disconcerting noise every time you drive, you must learn what’s causing it and when someone doesn't feel as happy as you’d like them to be or they don’t live up to the image of the person you’d like them to be, you must learn more about what in them is causing this problem.

Is it you? Is it their home life? Do they just love to complain? Too often, people lose an awareness of themselves as they become mired in their particular issue, such as depression, anxiety, lack of assertiveness, relationship struggles, or failures in their work.

People often act from their emotions without giving much thought to them. Instead, make an effort to consciously label your feelings and rate their intensity (e.g. mild, moderate, strong, overwhelming). Note how these emotions affect your judgments about yourself or others. For instance, you might notice that you are eating in response to anger about a situation and that you are also harshly judging yourself in response to that same anger. With time and practice, such observations will offer you insights, such as the recognition that your way of expressing anger is hurting you while not fixing the situation. Such insights can open the door to change.

7 Tips For Happiness

20 Ways To Make Yourself Happy Again

Start a journal and write in it every day to see where you can make improvements. In a year go back through the journal and see how much you have changed.

Reconnect with old friends. Have you ever been missing friends that you haven't seen in a few years because either you moved or they did. Look them up, go for a visit or just have a long talk on the phone with them.

Starting a new project of any kind will give you a sense of purpose, and once it is complete, you will feel accomplished.

Try something you have never tried before, and even something you never thought you would enjoy. You never know who you will meet or what new passion you could develop.

Get some sunlight every day. Natural light is a very effective therapy when you are feeling down.

Go to a bookstore and pick up a bestseller that looks interesting to you. This will help you escape your everyday life for a while and you may even learn something new.

Help other people. It is proven time and again that people who help others lead a rewarding happy life.

I know I eat the same thing every morning for breakfast. You are probably bored with your daily routine because you do it on autopilot. Switch it up a bit, even if it is just taking a new route to work or having something different for breakfast.

Is there someone that you see on most days, but don't talk to? Maybe the barista at your coffee shop or someone at your gym? Spark up a conversation with them to have some human connection.

Create goals for yourself even if they are small. The smaller the better because you will be able to accomplish smaller goals.

Meditate daily for 5 to 10 minutes. Relax, relate and release those unhappy feelings.

Think about everything in your life that you can be grateful for. You can't feel depressed when you are purposefully feeling appreciative.

Have a sense of compassion to yourself just like you do towards others.

Remember you are not alone.

Remember you are bigger then your sadness.

Pain is a feeling that everyone has from time to time. However, it’s not who you are and it does not define you. Allow yourself to feel it, but don't identify yourself with it.
